The IDEC ASTN1520 is a non-illuminated three-position selector switch from the ASTN series of 30 mm industrial control operators - the classic IDEC heavy-duty line that preceded the current TWN/TWND generation. The physical unit supplied is marked ASN-311B on its label. It offers a maintained knob operator with positions at 45 degrees, a round head approximately 35 mm across, and a chrome-plated metal bezel built for oil-tight panel duty. The switching function is provided by HW-U type contact blocks ordered with the operator - for example two NO contacts using HW-U01 or HW-U10 units - each rated 10 A at up to 600 VAC with silver alloy contacts and screw terminals. Panel drilling is a standard 30.5 mm control-unit hole. Series data lists mechanical durability around 500,000 operations, electrical durability around 500,000 operations under load, IP65 front protection, an operating temperature span of -25 to +70 degrees C and approvals including CCC, CE, CSA and UL.
