Description

The Omron E5CS-R1PU-W is a 48 x 48 mm (1/16 DIN) plug-in digital temperature controller from the E5CS series, designed for platinum resistance thermometer input and supplied with a relay control output. It is a simple-to-set-up unit that uses a DIP switch for sensor and control configuration, making it a practical replacement for failed controllers in panels across Pakistan. The controller accepts Pt100 and JPt100 platinum resistance thermometer inputs and provides ON/OFF or 2-PID control with automatic PID parameter setting for stable temperature regulation. The relay control output is SPDT rated 250 VAC at 3 A resistive, with an alarm output rated 250 VAC at 1 A. A clear 13.5 mm seven-segment display and deviation indicators show the process value and status, while key protection, input shift, temperature unit change and direct/reverse operation settings are included as standard. The supply voltage is 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz with an operating voltage range of 85% to 110%, and the unit consumes approximately 5 VA. Setting accuracy for platinum resistance thermometer input is ±0.5% of the indication value or ±1 °C, whichever is greater, ±1 digit.
