It is NOT a fuse link -- it is the mechanical striker/monitoring accessory that mounts on NH-type (knife-blade contact) fuse links from sizes NH000 through NH4 and converts the fuse operation into an electrical alarm signal. When a fast-acting semiconductor fuse or general-purpose NH fuse operates, nothing may look different from outside the enclosure. The RX1/RX2 sits alongside the fuse link and clamps under the link's end-cap screws (DIN 43653-style fixing). The moment the fuse element melts, the unit's spring-loaded pin fires and trips an integrated auxiliary microswitch -- typically 1 NO + 1 NC dry contact -- that your PLC, annunciation relay or trip circuit sees instantly. The adjustable base accommodates minor dimensional variation between NH fuse families. Typical duties include AC side monitoring of variable frequency drives, DC drives, rectifier stacks, UPS systems and soft starters running at 690 V class and above, where fast fuse-blow detection protects downstream silicon and cuts fault-finding from hours to minutes. Also suitable for general NH fuse alarm and interlock circuits in switchboards, MCCs and distribution panels.
